About Rebecca

Rebecca Little is an accomplished Chicago-based freelance writer, editor and author. She is a former contributing editor for Chicago Magazine and has written for The Chicago Tribune, WBEZ, Slate, Chicago Parent, Zagat, Google, The Irish Times, and Crains Chicago Business, among other publications, as well as many corporate and university clients. She has written about women’s health, education, parenting, home design, style, politics, travel and pop culture. She also writes the Substack Girls with Big Ideas. She has a master of science in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and graduated from the improv training program at The Second City.

About Colleen

Colleen Long is a journalist based in Washington, D.C. who has covered some of the nation’s most important news including the White House, presidential elections, national security and law enforcement. She has written extensively on the nationwide repercussions from the fall of Roe, and on the intersection of women and the criminal justice system including an award-winning story on prison nurseries. Her work has appeared in every major news publication in the world, and she has been a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize twice, in 2019 for the AP’s work on immigration and in 2024 for the AP’s work on the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.
