We’re writing a book about pregnancy loss. One you need to read.

Rebecca Little & Colleen Long are journalists and lifelong friends who have a lot in common—both short, both writers, both with last names that are units of measure.

And, unfortunately, we have both lost babies past the 20 week mark of pregnancy. We are currently researching and writing a book, It’s Actually Quite Complicated: Undoing Our Cultural Ignorance Around Pregnancy Loss and Grief. Our book is exploring every aspect of these misunderstood losses.

My Background

I’m an intuitive chef who learned by doing, helping my mother and aunt cook elaborate family meals from the time I was old enough to hold a spoon. Those early experiences led me to pursue an M.A. in Nutrition and I now combine my love of food and healthy living to help clients live and eat better.

M.A., Nutrition

2002 – 2006

Personal Chef

2006 – 2012

Sous Chef

2012 – 2015

Consultant for Hire

2015 – Present

I believe that in a world of modern maladies caused by work and lifestyle, food is often the best medicine. I teach my clients how to make small dietary changes that stack up big gains over time.

“Colette’s method is incredible. I completely changed my eating habits, but never felt like I was missing out on anything.”

I’d love to show you how food can transform your life.
